Kirtland Strawberry Festival

June 13th, 14th and 15th 2024

Since 1960, the annual Kirtland Kiwanis Strawberry Festival has been a staple of the Kirtland community, taking place each year over Father's Day Weekend, at the Kirtland Schools on Route 306.

Admission to the festival is free, and it offers a variety of activities and treats for all ages.

Each day, attendees can enjoy strawberry shortcakes, sundaes, supremes, and chocolate-covered strawberries. There will also be rides provided by Lisko Family Midways, a car smash, entertainment including a DJ and local bands, lemonade from the Kiwanis, a food court, photo opportunity area, kiddie land entertainment, a dunk tank, robotics demonstration, pony rides, contests, and a crafts and commercial area.

How do I participate the parade? Show up at 5:30 p.m. and we will show you where to go.

What time does the Parade begin? Friday Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m.

Where is the Parade route? The parade will begin at the corner of 306 & Joseph St.

Is there a fee to enter? There is NO fee to enter but we are always looking for donations to help the community.

Where do I park? Convenient parking is available on most parking lots & streets.

Is there reserved or bleacher seating? NO, spectators are welcome to find their own place to watch the parade along the route, bring your lawn chair and sunscreen!

Where do I drop off participants in the parade? Drop off participants in the staging area or behind the school. Pull in by the school bus parking and drive to the back. (Baseball teams must go to Maple St). Traffic can be heavy on 306, so it's very important that you arrive early and follow directions from the safety officials and volunteers stationed in the area. Baseball team drop off. Please enter from Maple St and turn onto Coudry Dr. Once on Coudry Dr find your team and continue to Joesph St.

Can participants in the parade throw candy or distribute goodies or information? Yes, this is the the best part of the parade.
